Importance of Construction Safety: Oak Mountain Construction Practices

Oak Mountain Construction places high importance on safety. In order to be employed with Oak Mountain Construction an employee must complete a Construction Safety Class that gives them part 48 certification based upon MSHA training. Construction safety begins with leadership which is why we require ongoing supervisor training.

Our supervisors complete a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) prior to the start of any job. Workplace safety relies on organization and planning prior to beginning any job. The JSA is completed efficiently so that our employees are safe and the job is done as quickly as possible.

All projects are given their own priority, with site specific training when entering a new facility. This along with daily review of equipment, and weekly safety meetings, ensure that our employees are prepared for the work ahead with an eye on safety to themselves, and those around them.
